In recent years, there has been a rapid increase in the number of people wishing to convert their foreign driver's licenses to Japanese licenses, a process known as "Gaimen Kirikae."
This procedure requires passing two tests: a "knowledge confirmation" test and a "skill confirmation" test. The skill confirmation test, in particular, is proving to be a barrier for many foreign drivers.
To address this challenge, we have newly published "Road Ready in Japan," a skill confirmation preparation guide for foreigners. This book is a comprehensive guide that covers the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the skill confirmation test, and the English version is currently on sale.
Furthermore, we are progressing with the development of versions other than English and plan to release the following language versions soon:
